Where's the beach??

When I was pregnant, I bought Henry a pair of swim trunks. I guess I wasn't thinking clearly because I bought size 3 months. Henry is already wearing size 6 months, and he is only 4 1/2 months old! Anyway, before I realized my mistake, I ordered this precious sun hat to match. So, I had to at least put them on for a photo opp. I guess I'll save the swim trunks for the next one...



I told Hank that since Henry was ready for the beach and it was too cold to go anywhere around here, we should take a quick trip to the Caribbean! HA!

Nap time!

Henry is sleeping very well these days - he has come a long way! We put him down about 8:30 or 9:00 pm and he will sleep till about 8:00 am. You wouldn't believe how rested I am now. Anyway, he likes to take a long nap mid morning and likes to put his binkie (spelling??) over his face. Don't worry - I constantly check him to make sure he is breathing!

Mr. Man

I bought this precious little Polo outfit for Henry when I was pregnant. He has not worn it yet and I wanted him to wear it at least once before he grows out of it. Hank and I put it on him last night to go out to eat, but he HATED it! He was in a foul mood anyway, so I should have known better. We ended up ordering Chinese and staying in.

Mullet Man! (Henry, not Dave)

Henry has a litttle problem with his hair... He has quite the mullet! We're not sure if we should cut it or let it grow long and beautiful. You know the saying, "business in the front, party in the back!"

Henry's Bath time

Henry loves his bath every night and loves playing with his rubber duckies. The only problem is, Sadie ALSO loves bath time! As soon as she hears a rubber ducky squeak, she runs upstairs and tries to steal one from Henry's tub. And, she will lick him if she gets the chance...

Henry's First Food!

Henry wasn't too sure about his rice cereal at first, but by the second night, he was opening up his mouth and actually leaning towards the spoon. I think he really likes it!!

Date night with Henry

Hank and I went to Manuel's tonight - a wonderful French restaurant in North Augusta. The weather has been so nice and we went and ate outside - we felt like we were on vacation! Henry loved it! Both Henry and Dad look so handsome in blue!

Henry loves to stand up on daddy's lap and laugh and laugh!


Henry went to the doctor today for his four month appointment and weighs 15 lbs and 4 ounces. He is in the 50th percentile in weight but in the 90th percentile in height. No surprise there!
